1. Google+

Google Plus is without a doubt the product of the week, month, and probably even year, for Google, and the Android app is going to be as essential in the future as the Twitter and Facebook apps are now. Get ready to make friends with this one, because unlike Buzz and Wave, this one is definitely on the way to the top, and you can quote me on that in a year.

2.  Sports Tracker

This is one of the best application UIs I've ever seen in the Market. Very good work, Sports Tracker team.--

3. Wave Launcher ($1.99)

I miss webOS and some of its second to none multitasking features. While there is no way to get webOS cards or a left-to-right (or right-to-left) swipe to switch apps on Android, Wave Launcher is an easy way to get the webOS quick launch wave on your favorite Android handset. First, open the app to setup the launcher with the apps you desire. Next, simply slide your finger from the bottom edge of the display to the middle. The wave will appear and when you release your finger, the selected app will launch.

4. Read It Later Pro ($2.99)

I do a lot of web browsing from my phone when I'm not at home. Sometimes I come across an interesting article that I can't finish or don't have time to even start. I could set a bookmark to save the page, but before long, I would have hundreds of unorganized bookmarks. This is where Read It Later comes into play. Simply share the page with the Read It Later app and it will be saved in your cue. Mark it as read when you're done, and it's removed from your reading list. As an added benefit, you can also view your reading list from your PC and use Read It Later as a reverse Chrome To Phone service.

5. Dropbox
Dropbox is a great cloud service that automatically syncs a folder of files between multiple computers (Windows, Mac, or Linux). This app extends Dropbox to Android and interacts with other apps (such as Documents To Go) to open the files.

6. TripView

TripView, while only available for Sydneysiders, is a welcome relief from the 131 500 web site.
You set up your pre-defined journeys by either clicking on your stop on a map, or by searching for it by name. Once you have set these up, your next bus, train, or ferry info is but a single click away.

7. Moon Reader

More options than you can shake a librarian at.
With phone screens getting bigger, and Android tablets about to explode (not literally) onto the scene, now’s a great time to start reading eBooks on your Android device.
My favourite eReader is Moon+ Reader. It supports txt, html, epub, umd, fb2, chm, zip, and OPDS, but, sadly, not PDFs. 

8.SMS Scheduler

SMS Scheduler offers a simple but very useful feature: the ability to schedule SMSs, either as a once-off, or repeated at specified intervals.

9. Titanium Media Sync

From the maker of the nerdtastic Titanium Backup comes the missing piece in the Android backup puzzle; Titanium Media Sync.
Titanium Backup does a ripper of a job backing up your apps, and includes a schedule function and the ability to upload the backups to Dropbox, but it doesn’t combine the two. Until now, I used to have to manually upload my backups to Dropbox, but it doesn’t combine the two.

10. Domo

Domo is a new breed of social networking app. Rather than connect you with people you already know like Facebook and LinkedIn do, the program allows users to find strangers with shared interests.

Users log in to their Facebook accounts and select the interests they'd like to share with others (work, education, activities, etc.). The app then displays a list of people around you based on shared interests. You can say a quick "domo" (hello in Japanese) or send longer messages and photos.
