Microsoft Surface RT


One of the first Windows 8 tablets out of the gate is expected to be Microsoft’s Surface for Windows RT. The 10.6-inch slate features a microSD slot, USB 2.0, micro HD, and Office Home & Student 2013. Surface RT is available with 32GB or 64GB of storage. Processor type, RAM and screen resolution areMicrosoft Surface unconfirmed. Microsoft said pricing will be in line with similar competing tablets. The device is expected to launch Oct. 26, the same day as Windows 8.

Asus Tablet 600 and 810


The ASUS Tablet 600 will be running Intel’s new Atom processor and full blown Windows 8. The Tablet 600 will come with NVIDIA® Tegra® 3 4-Plus-1™ Quad-core CPU with 12-core GPU for low power consumption, a 10.1-inch 1366×768 Super IPS+ display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of eMMC storage, and an eight megapixel camera,Unique battery-boosting mobile dock that features a keyboard, touchpad,USB port for increased productivity
and high performance and Built-in NFC sensor to easily communicate with other NFC-enabled devices.

Asus  810 is a full-fledged Intel-powered model with full Windows 8 installed. Asus 810 features an unspecified Intel Medfield CPU with 2GB of RAM. Like the 600, it has a Super IPS+ display with 1366 x 768 resolution, only the panel here is a bit larger, measuring 11.6 inches. What's more, this guy makes use of a Wacom dual digitizer, allowing for both pen and finger input.

HP Slate 8


HP's first business-minded plans for Windows 8 tablets.HP Slate 8 will bring enterprise functionality to the masses with a 10.1-inch display, enterpriseHP Slate 8 Tablet level docking, and of course Windows 8 Professional OS, complete with touch controls. The slide this tablet is featured in also shows an EliteBook, making this tablet a likely candidate for the Elite line of HP products, their highest-level consumer line of products.

Samsung 5 and 7  Series Hybrid


Samsung's Windows 8 device, the Series 5 Hybrid PC.Like Transformer this tablet slots into an accompanying keyboard dock. In an interesting twist, though, this device doesn't make use of your run-of-the-mill latch mechanism; instead, the slate attaches magnetically. The Hybrid is rated for 10 hours of battery life and has a pair of 2- and 8-megapixel cameras. It also supports penSamsung Hybrid input, and will come bundled with the same S-Pen and S-Memo software used on the Galaxy Note 10.1. hybrid Models models have 11.6-inch capacitive touchscreen displays, front and back cameras (2- and 8-megapixels respectively) and an active digitizer stylus that docks into a special silo-slot on the side. The Series 7 – which Samsung tells us is codenamed “Jones” – runs an Intel Core i5 processor, and has a few discrete punctures on the back for letting out the heat.

Dell Latitude 10


Latitude 10 Windows 8 model due in mid-November will be preceded by a Windows RT version. The Dell Latitude 10 launch will bring a new docking dell Latitude10station with extra ports and charging. The Latitude 10, meanwhile, will have a dualcore 1.5GHz Clover Trail processor, up to 128GB of SSD storage, WWAN, WiFi and Bluetooth options, and a multitouch 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 display with optional Wacom digitizer. If it wasn’t clear that Dell is targeting the enterprise, the inclusion of Microsoft Lync clinches it.
