Acer unveiled Windows 8 Tablets, Ultrabooks

Acer unveiled new Windows 8 products, including tablets that come with attachable cradle and ultrabooks fitted with touchscreens.The company's offerings, which will debut in October with release of Windows 8.

Tablet-Iconia W510


the Iconia W510, features a 10.1-inch touchscreen that also comes with an attachable keyboard. Once connected, the keyboard can extend the device's battery life by up to 18 hours, and also be flipped on its back, turning it into a stand that can prop up the tablet.

Tablet- Iconia W700


The Iconia W700, has an 11.6-inch full HD touchscreen, and comes with an attachable "cradle", which acts as a stand to tilt the device at 70 degree or 20 degree viewing angles. The W700 tablet also features three USB ports.

Ultrabook-Aspire S7


The Aspire S7 Series are the company's new ultrabooks that will come in 13.3-inch and 11.6-inch sizes that will have HD touch screens. Both feature a sleek aluminum metallic unibody design. The larger model additionally sports a glossy, sculpted glass cover. The 13.3-inch model will offer up to 12 hours of battery life, while the 11.6-inch model can run for up to 9 hours from a single charge.Both devices also run Intel chips.

Tablet PC -Aspire 7600U


The Aspire U is a 27-inch all in one with a 35 mm profile and a Full HD edge-to-edge 1,920-by-1,080 display. Power cords are hidden in a rear panel, creating a floating effect, Acer said. The Aspire U can be tilted from 30-80 degrees with one hand, and the device is available with a swivel stand that tilts to zero degrees.
