Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 - Specs and Price

Samsung revealed much awaited the Galaxy Tab 3, a 7-inch tablet with the ability to make phone calls.Samsung adding phone capabilities to the Galaxy Tab 3 isn't an opening of the “tablet-as-phone” gates, or the beginning of a trend.Instead, it seems to be Samsung recognizing at least some consumers desire to use their tablets as smartphones, no matter how they look while doing so.

The Galaxy Tab 3 has 4.1 Jelly Bean Android tablet arrives with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 8GB or 16GB of storage (with expansion up to 64GB), a 3- and 1.3-megapixel camera array and a substantial 4,000mAh battery. That 7-inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600) TFT display. The Wi-Fi-only version weighs 302 grams, whereas the Wi-Fi/3G model is a touch heavier at 306 grams.According to Samsung, the Wi-Fi version will be available worldwide from next month, whereas the Wi-Fi/3G version will be hitting store shelves in June.



Many people says it is exactly the same as my samsung galaxy tab 2. The only thing they changed was the design. The screen resolution, camera, processor,version of Android OS, and RAM, are all the same.

We don't know how much the tablet will cost, but we expect it to be closer to the $199 price point of the Nexus 7 than the $399 of the Galaxy Note 8.0 or $329 of the iPad mini.
