Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000 Budget Tablets- Specs and Price

Now there are a number of manufacturers that are catering to the budget tablet market and today Lenovo has quietly released three of its new offerings for this market. They are called the Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000 tablets.

All three tablets run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Lenovo says that while cost will vary depending on market and model, it expects each model to be "competitively priced." They are now available for purchase through Best Buy and Amazon.

  Lenovo A1000

  
  The A1000 is 7-inch display having resolution 1024×600, tablet loaded with 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.The A1000 is good for music for its front-facing speaks and Dolby Digital Plus audio. It has 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded using the included microSD card slot. A1000 can cost you $149.99.

  Lenovo A3000

  
  The A3000 also has 7-inch 1024x600 IPS display, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and loaded with 1.2GHz quad-core MTK processor.As per Lenovo Website A3000 will also have 3G version with HSPA+ connectivity. It's memory is also expandable with microSD slot. A3000 will cost around $180 based on Version selected.

  Lenovo S6000

  
  The S6000 is high end model in this series, featuring a 10.1-inch 1280x800 IPS display. The S6000 is loaded with 1.2GHz quad-core MTK 8389/8125 processor. The battery is estimated to provide 8 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing. There's also a micro-HDMI port and Android Jelly Bean. Alike the A3000, the S6000 will also come in a separate version with 3G HSPA+ support. Finally S6000 may cost $279.99 based on version selected.

With these wide range of tablets overall it looks like Lenovo is trying to add more variety in their tablet portfolio.
