Google takes on Apple's iPad mini or other competitors with its new super-slim Nexus 7 that has the world's highest resolution tablet screen.The new Nexus 7 is built by Asus and has a seven-inch, 1980x1200 display. Google's second-generation Nexus 7 tablet packs a more powerful processor, a full HD screen and strong speakers.
Nexus 7 has a 5MP rear-facing camera along with 1.2MP front-facing camera for the first time, and a faster 1.5Ghz processor compared to the first-generation Nexus 7 device.It will be the first device to be shipped on Google's new Android 4.3.
The new tablet comes with a $30 price increase over last year's model. At $229 for the base model, it is still a bargain - and 30 per cent cheaper than Apple's $329 iPad Mini.
