Acer Iconia A110- a cheapest Tablet

At Computex 2012, Acer revealed 7 inch Android-powered Iconia A110 Tab which is expected to come out in the third quarter of the year. Iconia A110  features a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with 1 GB of RAM, and will run Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.

As Amazon has proven, the only way to compete with the iPad is not to go against it head on, but by offering a much cheaper alternative. With the Acer Iconia tab A110, and with the previously announced Asus Eee Pad MeMO ME370T, Android tablets may have a chance against the juggernaut called the iPad.So Iconia A110 is similar kind of move from Acer.

All in all, the A110 looks like a modest but welcome update for Acer’s previous 7-incher, the Iconia Tab A100. While the A100 did offer a rear-facing camera, its disappearance isn’t a huge loss. Using a half-kilogram, 8-inch-wide device isn’t a great way to take snapshots anyway, and it’s an excellent trade for double the processing capacity.
