Toshiba has launched a new tablet in Italy that runs the Android operating system.The new Toshiba Tablet known as LT170.LT170 is equipped with a 7 inch capacitive multitouch screen sporting a resolution of 1024 x 600.
The tablet uses a Freescale i.MX53 CPU operating at 1 GHz as its brain. It also has 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash storage.
The LT170 weighs 388 grams and it measures 200.25 x 128.5 x 11.5 mm. so it’s officially the lightest slate in the 7 inch area and I must mention that it also comes with a 2MP rear camera and a front 0.3MP shooter. Its battery is a Li-Ion unit with enough juice for 7 hours of video playback. While the specs may not be that strong, this Toshiba model has some accessories to make it more appealing.
We've learned of the LT170 through plans for its Italian launch, which should take place in late March.
