Asus announced a $249, quad-core, 7-inch Ice Cream Sandwich tablet. ZTE's model will bring very similar specs at an even lower price. Apart from at CES 2012 ASUS released a 7-inch tablet( the ASUS Memo) and a 10-inch tablet with a high-resolution screen. Before that Asus Eee Pad Transformer also peformed well in the market With a basically nondescript body,this Android tablet is going to be very, very affordable, and it might even pop up at a U.S. wireless carrier.
The ZTE T98 features a 7-inch display with 1200 x 800 resolution, a 1.3GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera, and more. The tablet runs on Android 4.0.
