Though many analysts have predicted that the Microsoft and the allied manufacturers are planning to launch the Windows 8 somewhere in next year, we think the product will be out before that.
With some estimation and following Intel’s CEO Paul Otellini’s words and other sources for some time, we do smell Intel machines distended with the new OS platform are anywhere about this year itself.
Windows 8 has been playing a lot of hide and seeks recently. We dug the bags at the stalls at CES to discover something which will provide us an enhanced exposure of this newest Operating System from Microsoft, but what we got was really superficial substance, mostly from Otellini’s arrangement on how the new platform will make ultra books convertibles.
At some point the same Otellini was heard saying that Windows 8 tablets are in production queue and that means they might hit the market sooner than expected. Everyone is wondering if Intel or the ARM version of these slate swill get priority, with experts tending to favor the former rather than the latter. Tipsters with connections in the ARM segment say that they don’t have any intel on a close release, so maybe it’s 2013 after all. This October it will be 3 years since Windows 7 was out and if Microsoft feels the need to keep the tradition, they might release the new Windows in that month.
In October, it will be well three years since they have launched their last version, Windows 7. So we think, we have all reason to believe that we will see Windows 8 this year itself.
